Lush gardens, palaces made from crystal, and a silver princess whose name I could never place. These are the images I want to remember. I iwant/i to see these flashes, even if they do leave me feeling confused and empty.
There are the bad dreams as well, of course. Four faceless men who I once called 'friends' turning on me. The chilling cries of my silver princess, screaming out a name that escapes me as I awaken. Those dreams leave me chilled to the bone. The dreams all have one thing in common, though. I always awaken feeling alone, like a chunk of myself is missing. All I know is that if I find the 'Legendary Silver Crystal', my questions will be answered.

My name is Mamoru Chiba. At least, I think it is. I'm nineteen years old, and a university student. On my sixth birthday, I was in a car accident. I lost both my parents, as well as my memories. I woke up in hospital, where I was told my name and the events of that day. Who knows if it's true? I sure don't.

I walk out into my kitchen, and collect the day's newspaper. Same news as usual. The front page reads "'Sailor V' strikes again! When will this crimewave end?" Sailor V. That's what she calls herself. She doesn't appear older than a middle schooler, and has been getting a lot of attention lately due to her sporadic crime spree. The police have been onto her for a while now, however never manage to catch her. She's where I got the idea of becoming 'Tuxedo Mask'. I've come to realise that was a poor choice of name. Oh well, we have to stick with it now. It certainly makes my mission of finding this Silver Crystal easier, anyway. Today though, I feel I know where I need to go. Perhaps some of my questions will be answered there.

I arrive at my destination, and peer in the window. A monster face a small girl with buns tied in her hair…that hairstyle…it seems somewhat reminiscent…no. She just looks similar to that villain Sailor V. That must be it. Still, I throw one of my enchanted roses at the monster as my gut tells me to trust her. That should give her a chance to win the battle. As I continue watching, I begin to doubt that gut instinct. The girl breaks down, screaming and crying. It managed to destroy the monster though. Whatever works, I suppose...

That night, my dreams seemed to make more sense. It was one of the better dreams, too. It didn't see to mix with the bad ones like usual. There are four men. Friends. More specifically, the Shitennou. Three of them are similar in age to me, the other is much older. I know I need to seek out these men. Perhaps this will answer my questions.
