"'Whoosh?'" Sasuke repeated,staring at the blond in confusion.
Naruto grinned widely, nodding his head.
"Yup! It's my favourite word!" he cried happily.
Sasuke blinked; his face blank. Slowly, his mouth inched upward in a small smirk.
"You know that could mean a couple of things, dobe." He said.
Bright blue eyes looked at him questionably and Sasuke resisted the urge to laugh.
"What do you mean?" those wide eyes narrowed suspiciously.
Sasuke raised a brow, turning away from the other boy to stare out over to cliff, the wind brushing through his hair like a lover's caress.
"Well, for one thing, it could mean that one is clueless." Sasuke's smirk grew wider as the sound of Naruto's low growl reached his ears. "For it is the sound of a remark going straight over one's head."
Naruto stomped over to his companion, pointed fangs glinting in the sun as he bared them angrily. He stopped barely inches away from the cliff's edge, back facing the beautiful view below.
"Just what do you mean by that, bastard?" he demanded, leaning forward to glare at the brunette.
Sasuke ignored him, knowing that that would just piss off the blond more.
"Or, it could be the sound of someone falling off a-" he was cut short by a loud crack.
Both teens stared at each other, paling. Slowly looking down, they saw the ground beneath them slowly start to separate from the cliff's edge. Cole black and baby blue eyes widened.
"Oh, shit…." Sasuke whispered, about to take a step back and away from the certainty of falling.
But Naruto was caught off balance from a sudden jerk of the earth beneath him and grabbed the nearest thing he could as he stumbled backwards.
That thing happened to be Sasuke.
Both boys were pulled forward as the ground beneath them gave away and fell.
"Naruto!" Sasuke shouted as Naruto's grasp on his shirt tugged him over the edge after the blue eyed boy.
Whoosh.
