"Brody, can you just drop it?" Rachel pleaded, sensing a eyes on them around the restaurant.
"No…" he snapped harshly. "I am tired of this. This needs to be your last visit to Ohio. How are we suppose to be dating if you're constantly around these people."
"These people are my friends and some of them even family." Rachel explained gently.
"I don't care, some of these people were your bullies in High school ." He said raising his voice, causing people to stare.
"Is everything okay over here?" A voice said behind them. Looking over her shoulder, Rachel was met with a concerned Quinn .
"Yea everything is fine we are just talking ." Rachel said giving her a soft smile in assurance, allowing her to walk away, but she still felt everyone's eyes on her.
"You're be on Broadway soon anyways ." He continued.
"That should mean no more visiting Ohio since you will be so busy ."
"I like it visiting here my friends and family are here ."
"Yea well I don't." He snapped.
"Well It's not up to you weren't born here ."Rachel said standing her ground.
"STOP you are acting like a brat ." He shouted, slamming his fists on the table and rattling the silverware, making Rachel jump in fear.
Before she could react, she felt a pair of rough familiar hands lift her out of her chair and push her behind him. Look up she was met with the backs of Finn, Puck and Sam blocking her from brody . She couldn't even see over them she was so short.
"You don't talk to her that way." She heard Finn defend. She heard rustling on the other side of them and figured it was Brody getting up. 'Oh you don't stand a chance against one of the Brody.' She couldn't help but think, and it was true. Brody was a decent size but she knew Finn and Puck workout routines and boy did they have upper body. 'Especially Finn's she thought biting her lip. She was interrupted out of her day dreaming by Brody yelling.
"You have no say in what Rachel and I do and you sure have no business in what I do with her." He barked.
"Rachel is my business she is part of the Glee family and I will not sit down as you abuse her verbally. She can decide whether or not she wants to leave with you." Finn said calmly.
"Rachel, let's go we are going back to NY ." She heard Brody call, but she didn't want to go.
"I wanna stay with Finn and the rest of the glee club Brody, I'll call you later." She told him behind her wall of men. She heard silence for a moment until she heard a loud thump against the guys. She soon realized that Brody attacked them, but didn't make it through.
She watched Finn punch him in face as Puck caught him in a choke hold and dragged him outside.
She was relieved and embarrassed all at the same time, but more relieved than anything.
"Thank you Finn." She whispered, burying her head in his chest.
"I don't like him talking to you like that." He replied walking them back to his table.
"Well that's why I have you." She teased, lacing their hands together. Gazing down at her in amazement, Finn gently kissed her forehead.
"You will always have me." He promised.
