Immortality.
The thought of living forever and ever, never dying, existing for all eternity.
Knowing you will watch your friends and family growing old and dying, and you staying the same.
Never growing old, never sick, and never knowing death.
Never letting yourself get close to anyone for knowing the fact that soon, too soon, they will leave you behind.
Grief.
Anger.
Sadness.
Death.
Immortality is a lonely thing.
Most people, if offered never ending life, wouldn't think about the consequences and just take it. They think it is a blessing.
They fear death.
I know better.
It is much easier to live with your friends and die along with them, rather than living on and on, losing everyone you love to the vestiges of time.
I know and have experienced this, and I have made one conclusion, a warning to those seeking everlasting life.
Immortality is not a blessing but a curse.
