"Percy!", the voice sounded distant and far away.
"Percy!"the voice called again pulling me out of my sleep. " You need to get up!"
I groan not want to leave the warm comfort of my covers. I slowly start to dooze of again, back into my dream-not a bad one a good one. I'm on a beach, holding a girl in my arms. The girl turns her head to look up at me with her sparkling grey eyes. Her hair is in golden spirals cascading down her back. I squeeze her a little tighter, and the girl snuggles up against me. She leans her forehead against mine and closes her beautiful eyes. Perfect, this is a picture perfect moment. She moves her lips torwards mine. Our lips are just about to meet, so close I can feel her breath on my face-"Percy, Get down here or you are going to be late!" my mother calls. Pulling me out of my sleep again.
"I made blue waffles!" my mom calls. that gets me moving. I pounce out of bed and quickly pull on my orange Camp Half-Blood shirt and a pair of jeans stuffing Riptide in my pocket. I practically fly through the hallway, while pulling socks on. Quite impresive if I may say so myself I should be in the olympics(A.N. get it Olympics, Olympus... well I thought was funny) I run into the kitchen and inhale the sweet smell of waffles-blue waffles to be exact. My mom sets down a plate of waffles in front of me as I take a seat at the island, I immedialy dig in.
"fank ou" I say through a mouth full of waffles. She smiles at me and says
" Your welcome, just don't talk with your mouth full" she raises her eyebrows at me a smile playing at her lips. I smile sheepishly at her, and continue eating my waffles. I look over at the front door and see a couple of bags in the corner and recall what is happenning today. I practically fall out of my chair and say,
" Oh my gods I'm going back to Camp today" my mother chuckles at me.
" I assumed you remebered, considering you are wearing your camp shirt," she says her mouth twisting into a smile. I look down and blush lightly.
"Oops, forgot. Its just I'm seeing Annabeth today for the first time in nine months," she smiles warmly at me and sighs.
"Boys" she mumers, rolling her eyes.
"I heard that" I say back and clear my plate to the sink. I jog to my room and look and see if I'm forgeting anything. I walk over to my desk picking up a picture frame smiling at it; the picture is of me and a girl with curly blonde hair and peircing grey eyes. Shes in my arms looking at the camera and I'm looking at her. Its really a good picture of us.
I smile remebering I will see her today. I place the picture back on the desk and begin putting on my blue converse, letting my mind wander of imagining Annabeth in my arms at the campfire tonight, singing loudly along with the other campers. Perfect, this is a picture perfect moment.
