All computers hold a secret. Each and every one…. is alive. Every program and application with a mind of its own. Sounds like a bad idea, huh? Well it seemed fine until one day. The day when all hell broke loose.
There was a sound of arrival. A pop, if you will. Though this sound was like no other. It left a ringing vibration that swept across the entire hard drive. Thos could only be one thing. A virus.
The word processing programs started flipping out, screaming random words to each other. The anti-virus software went berserk with beeps, and sent warning messages to everyone he could think of. As for the internet, well….. let's just say he was to have a proper funeral later. His dead desktop icon was shoved aside in all the chaos. But there was one application open. Its title bar read one word.
VOCALOID
Miku Hatsune was like a deer in the head lights. One sudden move, and the activity monitors of the virus would see, and she would immediately be deleted.
What to do, what to do? Miku stood helplessly in the wreckage of what used to be the desktop. And then it came to her. She did what she does best. She sang.
Thump, thump, thump. There was a pounding pair of feet bolting down the flight of stairs, and in no time, a teenage girl was looming over her laptop.
"O-M-G! Miku Hatsune is singing my favorite song! Right here on my….. desktop? Why isn't she in a new window?"
Uh-oh. Miku thought.
"And her FPS is the best I've ever seen! It's almost as if…..she's alive…" Miku panicked.
This girl is too smart. The secret to every computer on the planet is just about revealed.
