I don't own harvest moon, or any of it's characters. Enjoy!

Fake smiles.

I used them all the time.

To tell Cam his cooking was good.

Pretending to be Lillian's friend.

Their wedding.

God, I hate my life sometimes.

Always cleaning the same tables, doing the same dishes, over and over again, it's so boring.

Something about Cam, though. It helped me.

I can't recall when exactly I started to have feelings towards them, but I do remember he completely dropped me when he met her.

She would come to the café every day, giving a flower to Cam, Dad, and I.

What I do remember is that as soon as they were married is that she never talked to me again.

I remember him walking up to me, late at night, looking genuinely concerned about me.

Asking me about a flower I had asked him about at least two weeks ago.

I thought that, maybe, I did have a chance.

I was wrong.

But that's not all that happened.

Georgia and I stopped hanging out. I saw her hanging out with Lillian, more and more often.

My dad actually told me yesterday that I should be more like Lillian after I dropped a plate.

I decided I would take a walk up the mountain to relax, and I happened to bump into a white-haired man I had never seen before.

We said nothing, our only acknowledgement of each other a simple nod.

After reaching the top, he pulled out a violin and began to play.

I smiled. A real smile.
