Chapter 1

So, my friends and I are finally getting out of this tiny little hicktown we call home. Well at least for a bit. Why? Because we're going to an Allstar Weekend concert! Maddie, Scarlet, and I are in love with that band, and now we get to see them perform live and meet them!

"Hello, Earth to Katelyn," Scarlet brought me out of my reverie.

"Sorry, must have been daydreaming again," I replied.

"And this is why I'm driving, not you," Maddie joked, making us all laugh.

"So what were you thinking about?" Scar asked.

"Zach," I mumbled, thinking they couldn't hear me. Unfortunately they could.

"Really Kate? Really? You're not gonna go all fangirl on us are you? If so we're sending you to the car during the meet and greet."

"Shut up Mads! You know I hate people like that. Don't worry, I won't do anything to embaress you guys," I laughed, causing the other two to giggle as well. We got to thee venue in downtown St. Paul, and our excitement grew. We were all bouncing off the walls while waiting in line to get in; of course that can partly be attributed to the Mt. Dews we downed on the way. We were some of the first people there, so when the doors opened we went straight to the stage, positioning ourselves right where to action would happen.

The first few bands performed, and they were really good, but I was so ready to see AllstarWeekend that a lot of thesongs just went in one ear and out the other. Finally, the boys that we are waiting for run onto the stage and begin their set. We are jumping up and down, and singing as loud as we possibly can, and I can tell Zach, Cameron, Nathan, and Michael have noticed us, which makes it all the more fun. When the time comes for them to play Amy, we cheer as a girl named Morgan is pulled up on stage and sung to. I can tell she is trying hard not to fangirl, and it makes me giggle.

After the show, wee hurried to the merch tables before the t-shirts and bracelets we wanted were sold out. After, we got in the insanely long line for the meet and greet, and many more people piled up behind us. During the wait, Scarlet was constantly asking how she looked, and Mads and I had to keep telling her she looked great and not to worry about it. When we were nearing where A-Dub was standing, Maddie leaned over and whispered, "Try not to fangirl."

"Shut up," I giggled, smacking her line seemed to move slower than ever, but then we were standing in front of the guys that we fawn over so much.

"Hey guys! I'm Nathan, and this is Zach, Cam, and Mike," he said with a smile that told you he was having a good time.

"Hi…I'm Scarlet," she said with a tiny bit of shyness.

"Katelyn," I say with probably the most dorky grin ever.

"and I'm Maddie," she says eagerly. The boys shook all of our hands, then took pictures with us and such. As we were walking away, I turned around quick, and said:

"By the way, awesome show." They all replied with a 'thanks', and said they're glad we enjoyed it, and then we left. All three of us felt like we were flying, we were that excited.
