Author's Note: This is my first 'official' fanfic in a very, very long time, not to mention my first Twilight fanfic and first time submitting one to the online public. I am primarily a visual artist with a bit of writing for pleasure on the side; I had a very hard time deciding whether or not to submit this. But due to the lack of MikexBella I was driven to. I understand it is an odd and very unlikely pairing, but that's what fanfics are partially for, right C:? I apologize for the shortness-it seemed to me if I made it any longer it wouldn't feel as right, and also for the dinky ending. I am very bad with endings C'x. So I hope you enjoy and maybe even review.

The rain came down hard as the cool air left in a small cloud from her mouth. The girl was on her knees with a blank expression looking out into open space. Her dull, red eyes snapped back to life; her expression changed to one of disorientation as she looked around trying to figure out what was going on.
She felt something drip from her lips and as she brought her hand up to wipe it she saw a mass of smudged red, diluted from the rain. It did not take long for her to connect what it was, with the metallic taste that lingered in her mouth: blood. She stopped breathing then. She looked around frantically and was quick to find the lifeless body lying on the wet, rough concrete in front of her. His eyes were arid, his chest no longer moving and his heart no longer beating.
The girl took in a deep breath, her body convulsing. No tears came but loud sobs escaped her throat. The blood was smeared on his face and clothes, and a gentle pulse of blood seeped through the holes in his neck into the large pool below.
She knew that she had done this. This horrid thing, to take the life of another, him, she had done it. And she could never take it back.
