Ulrich Stern slammed the door behind him. He gave up searching for Odd, didn't know where the heck Jeremie was, Aelita was probably with Jeremie, and Yumi, well, they didn't have such a great relationship anymore. It hadn't been the same since Lyoko was destroyed. They never spoke; well they hadn't really talked since… Ulrich cut off this thought by turning on the radio, in the middle of the song.

-Flashback-
"Ulrich, we can be friends, and friends only." Yumi finished, then walking towards the school. Ulrich tried to swallow what just happened. Ever since the day they met, Ulrich had liked her. No matter what she was there, and he was there for her. He walked back to the dorms, sulking more than ever.
-End flashback-
Why hadn't he let go? Did Yumi have a crush on William? No! She hated him! He thought, reassuring the facts he had. Then why did she let him into the group the second time? Another voice said, giving Ulrich a gut feeling.

Ulrich got jolted out of his daydream by Odd. "Hey Ulrich," he panted, "If anyone asks, I was in the library." He then dashed out, as Jeremie came running, Laptop in hand, ready to whack Odd upside the head. Jeremie popped his head in. "He. Had. A. Camera." Jeremie panted, "And. Ae-" Ulrich stopped him then and there. "Jer, Odd's getting away. Go hit him. Just don't kill him. Kay?" Jeremie Growled, "I'll do worse than that." He said darting out the door.

Considering all the people who could possibly intervene were gone for awhile, Ulrich decided to call Yumi. He picked up his phone and dialed.

"Hello?" asked Yumi, probably just waking up.
"Yumi, hi, it's Ulrich."
"Oh, hi. What's wrong?"
"Well, you see, I was studying, and I figured I'd call…"
"Oh." Yumi started to sound shaky and sad,"Ulrich, I'm sorry"
"For what? You didn't do anything, Yumi"
"I did. I said we were just friends, but we weren't. It's just, I-I-I love you Ulrich."
Ulrich paused, and a surge of happiness filled him.
"I love you too, Yumi."
