Chapter 2
Awaking early the next day, Haley helps Julian write a quick letter explaining his temporary leave. He tried to word the letter in a way that empowered Blaine and didn't get too TOO mushy. They hit the road taking Haley's car with Julian determined that he would be back! Thinking Vegas would be a great place to spend a couple nights getting to know each other better. Over the drive to Vegas, Haley tells Julian a couple stories about Pine Valley from when she was there last (i.e. the hidden tunnels in Adam's house, etc…..) She also says that it would be to his benefit if they just didn't talk about him being gay. Julian didn't care, he didn't plan on advertising for a new boyfriend or anything, just wanted to get out of Cali for a while.
Chapter 3
After checking into their own rooms, Haley decides she needs a nap, and Julian restless as usual heads for the pool. They decide on a dinner time and Julian bolts for the top floor of the hotel. There he finds a secluded little area that no one would care if he lit up a stogy. After relaxing for a moment, he takes the elevator to the pool level to get some sun.
Next Scene Change (prior to Julian walking into pool area)
Zoie is resting up on the bar having a cocktail. She decided to get out of Pine Valley and get some rest in the city of Sin! Taking a look around the pool she notices Julian. Taking an assumption he plays on her side of the team more so than most, she asks the bar keep to send him a drink. Julian's fast asleep when the bar keep brings over the drink and tells him who it's from. Julian looks over and nods with thanks and takes a sip. Getting up and walking over to the bar, Julian introduces himself and thanks again. They talk for a minute about life and share what brought them here to Vegas. Zoie tells him about her recent reunion with her mother, but how life has been a little tough. Zoie decides to leave the operation part of her life OUT of today's conversation with her new friend, as to have a moment where there is NOT so much pain. Also playing on the fact that her "dress-up" is part of her act. Julian shares with her his relationship with Blaine, and that he's taking a little time off to hopefully put it back into place. Julian asks what's going on in the city that night as he picks up a local guide to shows. On the cover they see the Female Impersonators at the Stardust and both agree it would be a fun show to see since it's been in Vegas forever. Julian invites Zoie to join him and Haley, but she declines gracefully. As Julian finishes the cocktail, he reaches over and thanks Zoie and tells her how nice it was to meet. Julian walks back towards the hotel, saying he'd probably see her back at the pool tomorrow.
