Disclaimer: I do not own Inuyasha.
Summery: This is a…well I don't really know if it could be considered a poem…but "She" is Kikyo. "You" is Inuyasha.
Darkness
Do you see it?
The darkness
Inside of her.
She tried to stop you
From ever seeing it.
But she couldn't.
You saw it.
You're scared.
She is darker
Than you could handle.
But yet you try.
Why is this?
You try to help her.
But you know it's useless.
But you have stubborn hope.
She fell
So far before she met you.
Far enough to where
She can't be reached.
No matter how far you dig.
You'll never find
What she once was.
In a deep pit
Is a shadow
Of what she was.
Polar opposites
She and you are.
Why do you stay
When you know it's hopeless?
Do you not know?
She's told you
Time and time again.
She's made you cry.
Cry with anger
Because you can't help her.
But as you cry,
She smiles softly
And kisses your forehead
And whispers,
"You are trying to save
Something that's already dead."
Perfect.
Unchanging.
She's embraced this darkness.
She's made it a part of her.
She lives it, breathes it.
And it scares you.
I suck at poetry. Tell me what you think.
