"So…you're leavin'." Connor didn't know what to say, so he stuck with the obvious. Jenny stopped and smiled at him as he leaned against the doorframe of his 'office'.

"Yes, Connor, I'm leaving." She nodded slowly.

"You got tired of us then, did you?" He half-teased, half-accused.

"No, Connor. Please don't think that. It has nothing to do with any of you."

"Just Cutter?" He asked, grabbing for any straws he could think of.

"Not exactly, no. I just…I need to learn. I need to know more about myself."

"So you're off to find out who you are." Connor nodded, but he really didn't want to understand. "To figure out this whole Claudia Brown business?" He was prying, and normally he would have avoided that, but she was leaving and taking with her any chance of explaining unless he asked her right now.

"That's part of it, yes. I just have to know who I really am."

"I…I understand, Jenny." Connor took his weight off the doorframe and stepped towards her.

"Thank you, Connor. Please don't be hurt that I'm leaving the team."

"I won't." He said, but it was a lie. First they'd lost Stephen, then Cutter, and now Jenny was leaving too. He couldn't blame her, honestly, but it did hurt. "You know me. Too lazy to hold a grudge."

"Good. That means a lot to me, Connor."

"Thank you."

"Well…" Jenny said, adjusting her bag over her shoulder. She was ready to leave, and though he wanted to, he wouldn't delay her any longer.

"Goodbye, Jenny."

"Goodbye." She turned to leave and he watched his friend walk away, hoping that one day she'd come back. If not, he hoped she'd at least like what she found inside herself.

"Uh…Jenny?" He said. He couldn't help it. She stopped and turned back to him, and instead of the irritated glare he was expecting, she gave him a relaxed smile.

"Yes, Connor?"

"I just wanted to say…when you 'find yourself' or whatever…just remember us, okay? No matter what you find or who you think you are…we love you. We all do." His voice broke at the last few words and he struggled to hold back his tears.

"I…I love you all too, Connor."

"Thanks, Jenny. Goodbye now."

"Goodbye, Connor." She turned once more, and he watched her go. He sighed, and left to find Abby. At least he still had her.
