Hey guys! Today is just a oneshot on how Rapunzel met Pascal. I've always wondered how they met so I just created my own theory! Enjoy! :)

"I'll see you in a bit, my flower!" Mother called as she climbed down my golden locks. I sat down on the stool and sighed heavily. I remembered the conversation Mother and I had earlier as she was brushing my hair

"... save what has been lost, bring back what once was mine~ what once was mine..." I sang slowly.

"Mommy, why can't I go outside?" I asked innocently.

"Because the outside world is a dark and cruel place filled with horrible, selfish people. Do you understand flower?" She answered coldly.

"Yes Mommy."

I brought my knees up to my chest and hugged them tightly. Why am I kept from the outside world? Surely it can't be so bad that I have to be locked up in a giant tower! When can someone save me from my pit of dispair and loneliness...?

I buried my head in my knees and cried softly. I lifed my head slightly to look outside my window. I gently wipped my glazed eyes and sniffled. Tomorrow, those floating stars are going to light to night's sky and I will be all alone... It's not healthy for a soon to be 8 year old to be alone on her birthday... My greatest wish is to have a friend I can play with, depend on, talk to, watch the lights with... Can't Mother see that I'm lonely? Can't she see how alone I feel?

Suddenly, I heard a small squeak. My head snapped in the direction of the noise.

"W-who's there?" I asked as I reached for my frying pan.I guess it'll have to do if anything happens...

The thing made the squeak again. I stepped back quickly. I waited for a bit then slowly inched my way to the noise.

"Who's there?" I asked more firmly than before. A little green creature apeared out of the shadows and squeaked weakly again. I cocked my head to the side in confusionbut still kept my stance. I inched forward again to gt a better look.

"Aw... You're just a baby..."

I walked forward slowly but with more confidence. I picked the creature up and smiled warmly. I walked to where it had appeared to check if it's Momma was still there. Sure enough, it was alone, like me.

"Don't worry little guy."I said tenderly. "I'll take care of you."

"What should I name you?" I used my spare hand to rub my chin in thought. The creature turned into a pastel colour and looked at me expectantly.

"Pascal!" The green creature nodded its head furiously with little croaky sound effects.

"From now on, you will be known as Pascal! I don't think Mother would be pleased if she found out I had associated with a creature from theoutside world, so I think we should hide you."

Once again, Pascal nodded his head.

AN I know, this was incrediboe short but you can't write much about a meeting in a show that doesn't show how they met... This was just my interpretation of how Pascal and Rapunzle met. Please R&R and tell me what you think!
