Ciel, the young earl sat at his desk, observing his paper work. He wondered what Sebastian was doing. He got up and stared outside the window. "Sebastian!"

Ciel was shocked to see his own, loyal butler be taken in by a small tabby she cat. He could see Sebastian talking, to a cat? "Well if that demon cares more about his cats than me, why doesn't he just ditch me now?" Then he thought, Well it's only the contact keeping us close together. He ditched his work and went down stairs to the door. He was about to open it, however when he opened the door, he saw Sebastian holding 3 cats in his arms. Ciel growled and showed his teeth and the cats jumped out of his grasp and Sebastian gave Ciel a sad look but kept his feelings to himself, of course demons have feelings.

It had been 4 hours and Ciel had taken his lessons and done the rest of his paper work. He was about to go to bed. Sebastian went down the hallway with Ciel in front and changed his clothes. Ciel climbed into his king size bed and Sebastian pulled up the rug over Ciel's shoulders to hide them from the bitter cold outside world.

Just as Sebastian did this, The main manor doors flew open making a crash on the new painted walls, and dead leaves, snow and rain flew in like wasps. It sent the warm atmosphere of the manor to a cold state. Ciel jumped. "What the hell was that?" He started to shiver remembering the times where that kind of noise was all the time with men in cloaks hurting him. Sebastian knew what this meant and hugged Ciel. "I, as the Phantomhive butler shall be at your aid and check, be at peace my lord." Sebastian tried to stand up right but Ciel was pulling on his dark suit. "Ciel?" Sebastian was in shock at Ciel's reaction. Ciel looked down, his dark covering his eyes. A tear could be seen. "Please, let me go, a as well" he mumbled under his breath.

"Yes my lord", They both crept down the stairs, Sebastian reached for a sword on the shelf. "That's my Grandparents." "Well my lord, I'm sure it will be use in these small moments." A smirk could be seen in the dim light of the manor. The lights had gone out to leave Sebastian's demon eyes as their only light source.

They went to the doors, Ciel put up his sword forward, ready for an attack, if needed.

"Sebastian, go in front, Now!" He did so. He walked outside. Looked up and then looks down. A surprised snigger came from his voice and he went to pick up something from a box. "My lord!" He turned around with a tiny Grey tabby kitten.

Ciel's face said it all. He didn't have to say anything because Sebastian knew how he felt. "Get that damn thing away from me this instance!"

"Oh, but my lord, He is only a few days old by the looks of him. Can't we keep him, please?" Ciel looked back, before going through the doors. Bard, Finnian and Mei Rin had heard the shouting, they saw the kitten that Sebastian was holding and fell in love. Gasps and quiet voices among themselves as they peered at the little tom.

"Are we going to keep it?" "Look, it came with a letter" , Bard gave Sebastian the letter and gave the kitten to Finnian. Mei Rin grabbed the box.

The letter said,

Please give this Fabulous tom a home.

Ciel growled. "Fine, a week, then it's gone."

Sebastian smiled knowing he was allowed the kitten. "Well, we have to name him."

"I am not naming that thing, just don't name it something like, Mr Fluffy or another idiotic name, ok?"

"A striking young tom should be named a proper name you say, my lord?" "Yes!"

"Well he has beautiful blue eyes, a smart coat and looks very magnificent, I shall call you,

Ciel."

First Chapter done of Ciel's new cat, and new found love.

I do not own the Kuroshitsuji characters (Think we all wish we did though haha!)
