Vicki Nelson's office was in shambles. There were papers everywhere and file cabinet drawers all open at different angles. Vicki was mentally kicking herself for letting Coreen have a few days off, thinking the office would be quiet. Then of course two hours after Coreen left, a man entered through the door requesting her private investigating skills.

Now Vicki was sorting through papers: her blonde hair up in a messy ponytail, her white dress shirt crinkled from all day wear tucked into her trusty, comfortable blue jeans. Her feet were bare though, tired of being cooped up in shoes all day.

Watching her sort through papers with a serious and pensive look on his face was Michael Celucci. "Vicki, is this trip really necessary?" he asked in his official cop tone, which conveniently matched his current facial expression.

"Well Mike, let's see…" she began, looking up from her papers, sarcasm heavy in her voice, "I get a client from Niagara Falls who wants me to investigate a disappearance in Niagara Falls…so yeah, we're going to Niagara Falls," she finished quickly, looking back to her papers, trying to find the right one. Coreen made it look so easy, she really needed to learn her strange filing system.

"Fine, let me rephrase," he sighed in frustration, running his right hand through his light brown hair, "Do you really need to go on this trip with him?" he questioned through tight lips.

Vicki paused in her search and looked up. She tried to make her face look reassuring and less annoyed. "Mike, you know I work better with a partner and you kind of have this Monday to Friday, nine to five thing going on anyway."

"Constable, don't you worry. I will take good care of her," came a smug sounding voice from a dark corner of the room. Henry Fitzroy emerged from the shadows dressed in his usual dark jeans and a blood red dress shirt. He stood behind Vicki and placed his hands on her shoulders in a protective and territorial gesture.

"Always one to make a dramatic entrance, eh Fitzroy?" Mike commented dryly to which Henry just smiled.

Vicki heaved a heavy sigh and rolled her eyes while she side stepped out of Henry's hands. "I've gotta go pack…" she muttered before leaving the boys to their pissing contest.
