A/N: This story is not long at all. It's less than 300 words. But after the emotion of the last few stories, I had to write something really sweet and fluffy. Enjoy!

"Hi, Daddy!"

Evy smiled up at her father, who had just gotten home from his long trip. John, surprised but pleased to find her up, walked over to the couch and sat beside her.

"What are you still doing up?" John asked as softly as he could manage.

"Couldn't seep." Evy said, rubbing her eyes.

"What are you doing?"

The answer came quickly. The television played the familiar tune that John had heard through Dean, then Sam, and now Evy.

"Sunny days, taking my clouds away, on my way, to where the air is sweet…"

"Watching Semame Tweet!" Evy said, clapping her hands.

"This late?" John asked, surprised it was on after midnight.

"Unca Baby buy me movie." Evy said, pulling the case out from beside her on the couch. "Sammy show me how pay it."

"It's late, little one." John said. "You need to go to sleep."

"Jus' one, Daddy? Pease?" Evy asked. "You watch wif me?"

John sighed. It was late, and he didn't feel like dealing with a whining Evy. He wasn't particularly fond of Sesame Street either. But time alone with Evy was scarce, he had nowhere in particular to be the next day, and she just looked so hopeful and excited at the prospect of spending time with Daddy that his normally hard, strict, disciplinarian heart melted.

"Daddy's gonna lay down. You can still watch, but you have to lay down next to me. Deal?"

"Deal!" Evy said.

Ten minutes later, after Big Bird and Elmo had solved some problem that John was only halfway able to follow, Evy was fast asleep on the couch in front of him. John considered carrying her to bed, but when she snuggled into his chest and softly whispered 'love daddy', the decision was made.

"Daddy loves you little one. Sleep tight."
