Normal POV

Lucy woke up and looked at the ceiling groaning, because she knew she would have to leave the warmth of her bed soon to get ready and make her way to fairy tail. She stretched yawning and slowly slide her legs out of the bed setting them on the cold wooden floor making her shiver, she stood up slipping on her fuzzy bunny slippers and made her way to the bathroom where she got her morning routine done. Twenty minutes later lucy walked out of the bathroom feeling refreshed she sighed walking over to her wardrobe to pick out one of her usual outfits which contained a light blue tank top and a pair of denim shorts, she got dressed quickly and put on her belt which contained her celestial keys slipped on her usual brown boots and left her little apartment locking the door behind her.

Meanwhile at the guild

Natsu and gray were in the middle of the hall yelling insults at eachother and landing a few hits, happy talked away about how its the perfect weather to go and catch some fish with a not interested carla, cana sat at the bar drinking her barrel of booze as mira wiped the glasses, gajeel sat in his usual dark corner chewing on a chunk of metal... to say the least everything was as it usually was..

"You better watch your mouth, Flame brain!"

" oh yeah and who's gonna make me, droopy eyes ?"

"you wanna fight?" gray glares

"bring it !" natsu laughs as grays fist connects with his jaw making him fly back a couple of feet, natsu stood up and charged at gray kicking him in the stomach.

"shit got serious " gray said fuming

Just then lucy walks into the guild making natsu turn his head and about to call out when another hit was landed by gray, lucy rolled her eyes greeting back to the other guild members who welcomed her she smiled and walked over to the bar where mira had her usual smile on,

"good morning, lucy " she looked at the blonde, lucy smiled "good morning mira"

"how are you this fine morning ?" mira asked picking up another glass "im fine...but tired, natsuu has been dragging me out on all these jobs" Mira giggled "Thats natsu for you "

Soon levy ran over to lucy wanting to join into their little chat because she couldn't take any more of jet and droy arguing over the littlest things, the three girls got into their usual conversation with either a hiccup or a retort from cana once in a while, or mira going off to serve some people in the guild. Time flew by quickly before they heard a loud

"listen up brats!" from the second floor of the guild the guild memebers looked up questionably, even natsu and gray stopped and looked at gramps.

"There's a competition on... to win a two week holiday on some sort of paradise island, for your entry you write down your name and hand the piece of paper to mira, she will then set them in the magic wheel and we will pick out the three winners, but remember that there are supposed to be two other winners from a different guild" master paused then nodded "thats all for now "

As soon as master stopped talking the guild burst into cheers and chatter, Lucy smiled "this could be it" she muttered " my chance to relax and take a break from all the hard work I've been doing lately " ...
