Undecided Fate
Introduction
Draco sat up. The last day of break before the new school term. Horrid. Going back to that school for the fifth year. Why Hogwarts? Why THAT school with THAT headmaster? All he could think about was the ever so long, ever so boring semester before Christmas. It was always the worst. Having to deal with the new Slytherins. The nasty little twerps. Ugh. And now he would have to deal with them in his dorm. HIS DORM! Terrible little goody-twoshoes, those first years. Always so scared of what might happen if they do something wrong. They don't know that it would be a blessing to leave that place. To be able to go to a different school is all that he wanted. But no, he has to go to THAT one because it is closer to home. Like HE wants to be closer to home.
" Drakie darling, GET UP!!!"
" I am already up, Mother."
" Then get down here and eat something, you
ungrateful mistake!"
" This is my life," Draco murmured to himself as he descended the stairs.
" Draco!" His father was never quite nice to him.
" Yes, Sir?" Draco replied with the tiniest hint of sarcasm.
" Do you have all of your supplies for the new year?"
" Yes, Father, I got them in July; remember? But even if I hadn't it would be too late. I leave today."
" Don't you talk to me in that tone! You know very well that I was working on business throughout all of July! Mudbloods can't be removed from office without a little help and extremely detailed framing plan. You know that!"
" Darling, don't scream. It upsets the flowers that the gardener planted."
" Narcissa, you have to be tough with smart-alecks like him."
" Sorry, Father. I shouldn't have talked back."
The clock struck 10:00. Thank God!
" Draco, time to leave; now we will see you at Christmas, correct?"
" Actually, Mother, I have decided that maybe I will stay at Hogwarts over break this year."
Spur of the moment. But after all, he thought, even Hogwarts would be better than here.
" You what?" Lucius exclaimed as he dropped his coffee.
" It's just that I am taking extra classes this year and I thought that maybe it would be easier for me to keep up on them if I stayed there."
Draco wasn't very good at lying to his parents.
" Well then, we will just have to send you your presents."
" NARCISSA! I do not want him to stay at that school any longer that he needs to be!"
" Lucius, it will be fine. I'm sure that Draco will change his mind once he realizes how much he misses home."
Like that would ever happen.
" Fine, but get going. You're almost late. Make sure you have the driver break the speed limit; you need to get there as fast as you can or you'll miss the train."
" I know, Mother, I know. Okay, bye then!"
Draco ran out the door as fast as he could. All of his things were already stored in the car. He had put them there himself last night. He was finally free from his parents. They don't act like parents, they act like they own him.
"At least I have a year away from them," he said in a relieved manner, at least Hogwarts is good for one thing."
He pressed the button to roll down the separator between him and the driver.
"King's Cross Station immediately." Draco stated with his usual tone
"I have already been given that information, Master Malfoy."
"Then why did I have to tell you? I still have no idea why my father hires idiots like you!"
"Yes, Master Malfoy."
" Ugh, just go! I'm going to miss the train. Oh, and make sure you speed. Direct order from my father."
"Yes, Master Malfoy."
Okay, so it's not the best right now. But I will be adding more chapters soon, this is just the intro. Tell me what you think so far!
