Hey guys, we all know that Molly is in love with Sherlock, but I like writing fan fictions about them that actually seems plausible. Because Sherlock can be niceā¦it just takes him a while.
Molly watched as Sherlock deduced some DNA for a case he was working on, he looked very concentrated but she wanted to speak to him. Not on anything specific, she just wanted rid of the uncomfortable silence that had fallen upon them. She was going to speak but she stopped herself. Without looking up from what he was doing, Sherlock spoke. "Molly if you have something to say, say it, although I don't particularly think that anything you have to say will aid me in any possible way to this investigation"
"I was going to say something but you seem concentrated" "Well done Molly your observation skills never fail to astound me" Molly frowned; Sherlock could be so mean sometimes, no scratch that all the time. She wondered why she let him get away with it half the time, maybe it was because she was in love with him, or maybe it was because although he was smart he wasn't smart enough to realise how much of a dickhead he was all the time, and she couldn't be bothered to explain the social construct to him, that was the one thing he definitely wasn't good at. He overthinks everything, so he would probably overthink that as well.
Molly remained silent. Sherlock sighed, "Molly, I'm going to try to be nice to you, this is a very important case and I need you to be silent" there was a moment's pause. "I promise I'll talk with you later" Molly's face lit up with happiness, she moved closer to him as if to give him a hug, though the expression on Sherlock's face made her decided against it. His face gave her a warning signal.
Before leaving, Molly turned towards him. "You know" Sherlock sighed. "Your good, deep down, I know you are, that's why I don't question your rudeness as much as everyone else does, because I know, in the end, your intentions are good, whether you try to conceal it or not"
She left without saying another word.
THE END.
