It was my 35th birthday, Octiber 23rd, 2018. I awoke to Killian gently nudging me and kissing me. I opened my eyes and smiled at him. "Good morning He said. "Good morning to you too." I said. "Get up and get ready. I have a surprise for you, love." He said. "You do?" I asked. "Aye. Today is a very special day. Happy Birthday." He said. I smiled and kissed him. "Thank you. Today is more than just my birthday." I reminded him. "Aye. It was your 29th birthday that we met in the Enchanted Forest. I'll never forget it." He said. "Me neither. Happy Anniversary." I said. I have never once celebrated this day. I was on my own for most of my life, and then after finding my parents it was always spent separated by realms or chasing monsters or villains. But today would be different. I got dressed and checked on Hope, getting her up and dressed. "Hello, cygnet. How are you doing this morning?" I said, picking her up. I sat down and breast fed her. Killian came up with a cup of coffee for me. I had handed Hope to Killian, and lightly put on a small amount of makeup and curled my hair. I decided to wear a dress today, which I rarely do, that dark pink dress that I haven't worn in years. I came down stairs, where Killian was waiting, holding Hope. "Swan, you look.." He said. "I know." I replied. He grabbed my car keys. "I'm driving, love." He smiled and winked at me. "Okay, where are we going?" I asked. "It's a surprise." He said, kissing me. We put Hope in the car seat and got in and drove off. Now that the realms are united, the possibilities are endless. "We're almost there, love." He said with a smile. "The Enchanted Forest? Why are we here?" I asked. "I told you, it's a surprise. We ended up at the castle. We got out of the car and got Hope out. "You ready?" asked Killian. "Always." I said. We walked down the long isles of the castle, to the room where my parents married and where Regina's coronation was. Killian walked in front of me and opened the door. "After you. M'lady." He said with a wink. Everything was dark. "Killian, what's this all a-" I was interrupted with the lights coming on and my entire family yelling "Surprise!" I jumped a little. "You guys!" I ran up to my son, parents, and friend, Regina, and hugged them. "Thank you so much, but this isn't necessary. I don't need all of this." I said. "It's your day, you should enjoy it." My dad said. We all danced, and Everyone bought me gifts, which felt a bit much. I didn't need all of this. Just being with my family was enough for me. I was overwhelmed, but filled with so much joy. Henry had made me a huge photo album, with the cover looking like his story book, and it was filled with all of our family photos through out the years. Killian had bought me a beautiful necklace it a pendant of a swan and a hook forming the shape of a heart. I was normally not the jewelry type, but I love it. It was amazing.
