Chapter 1 – A New Future
Hi everyone, I hope you like it, and I'm so sorry if you find some mistakes, but you must know that I'm not a native, I actually speck Portuguese, but I still hope you enjoy and review it :D
Jack was home tonight, sitting at his office he knows it's late, he simply knows it, one is in the morning… This kind of days really pleased him, we just got home from a four days mission on China and today we able to have dinner with his two daughter, Sydney and Gracie.
Sydney just turns twenty-five last month and Gracie was now fifteen years old, Gracie was the only one who didn't work for CIA, she know what was happening all the time, mostly because Syd wanted her to know the truth about their life, so she didn't feel disappointed like Syd was when she founds out the all truth about their father.
Jack knows that her daughter should know the truth about everything, but there were things that she was better off, like the identity of her mother. Jack still wonders why Sydney didn't figure that out already, it wasn't hard after all Gracie was the spit image of her mother, her hair was long and brown, like light brown and Gracie also has that bright light green eyes, she was a lot like her mother. Irina never really care about Gracie, she never seems to ask about her, what really pissed of Jack, because she is always so concern about Sydney and with Gracie, she pretends their daughter doesn't really exist.
Sydney is also asleep in her old room, after she was attacked in her house by some mysterious man, Jack almost dragged her home again and now that Sydney broke off with Vaughn she just could find any valid reason to be home alone so she came back to her father's home, and as a bonus she could spend more time with her little sister what was also great.
Sydney and Gracie had almost 10 years of difference between them, but still the hand out perfectly, Sydney still wonders who's Gracie's mom but the knows that an impossible thing for her to know at least from her father.
Upstairs Sydney was trying to fell asleep for like two hours, but she couldn't, she could help but wonder why lately she felt something was not right, she didn't tell Gracie about Nadia, who she actually find out about a week ago, they still didn't bring her home mostly because they don't have a single clue about where she was, but she was hopeful they could get her in the next week.
Gracie as already asleep when Jack enter her room, when she was little Jack used to see her sleeps for hours, for him their children was heaven, even after everything they been through, they are the best things he could ever ask for, Irina has gave him to beautiful daughters that he couldn't be more proud.
It was late when he went to bed, after checking Sydney and make sure she was safe and asleep, he let himself rest, because he knows that tomorrow something will be change forever and he isn't sure if he could handle…
