This is one of my first fan fics! I wrote it under the alias MoonRose

Serena sighed as she stared at the young college student talking to Andrew. His
ebony hair and stormy eyes mesmerizing her.

"Darien..." She sighed dreamily.

She was writing something and she hadn't even realized it...

"I am content to live my life
Each day a new journey
With or without you
And through this life
I am content to love you...
Even alone..." **

She stopped. It was true. She loved him and she knew she could never love
anyone as much as she loved this *jerk* and his smug look that made her so mad
but made her melt so easily.

She sighed. He could never see this paper...nor any of the girls. She placed
it in her book and stood up and left...Content to live and content to love.

Darien walked towards the exit when a piece of paper caught his eye. he picked
it up and read it once. Twice. Over and over. A sadness filled him.
"Funny..." He chuckled dryly. This is how I feel for Meatball Head!

He put the paper away.

True...

After all the pain he had been through in his life. With her...He was content
to love.
