"Juvia is so tired!" The blunette exclaimed as she threw herself upon her bed. "Why doesn't Gray-sama return Juvia's feelings?" She clutched her Gray doll close to her chest, as frustrated tears ran down her cheeks. "What is Juvia doing wrong?"

Later on that day Juvia decided to go down to the guild, smiling as if she hadn't been crying just an hour ago.

"Hi Juvia!" Lucy greeted as she walked towards the bluenette, smile on her face.

"Hi Lucy-san."

"Are you ok?" As Lucy looked more closely, she noticed that Juvia's eyes were a little puffy, and she didn't seem as cheery as she usually was.

"I'm fine."

"Are you sure?"

"Yes Lucy san, I'm fine."

Lucy sighed, and motioned for the girl to come sit with her at the bar. "Juvia, were friends right? You should know that you can tell me anything." Juvia looked at the blond with uncertainty. Well, what do I have to lose?

"It's Just that, Juvia doesn't understand why Gray-sama has no feelings towards Juvia. Juvia shows that she loves Gray-sama every day. But he doesn't say anything. Juvia is confused, and she doesn't know what to do in order to get him to look at Juvia." Tears filled her eyes, and it took every fiber of her being to hold them back. Lucy patted Juvia's head in sympathy. She knew that Gray wasn't being honest with himself. She could tell that he liked Juvia to some extent. What that extent was she didn't know, but there was definitely something there. "What is Juvia supposed to do? Every time she tries to show Gray-sama her love, he never accepts it."

"Perhaps it's the way you're going about it." Lucy said after much thought.

"What do you mean?"

"Maybe you're showing him too MUCH love. Maybe if you toned it down he might respond more." Juvia pondered over this for a bit, and came to a conclusion.

"So what Lucy san is saying is that, Juvia has to ignore Gray-sama so that he will want Juvia!" Lucy sighed in exasperation.

"That's what you understood!?"

"Juvia knows what she must do!" With that the water mage ran out of the guild, right past the ice mange that was coming in.

"What the hell was that?" Gray asked Lucy. She sighed and walked away, leaving a confused, naked Gray without answers.

This was going to be VERY interesting.
