You went on your hunting trip with the boys almost ten hours ago and I'm already miserable without you. It's understandable considering we spend every 'waking' hour together so instead of just sitting around I decided to do this. I'm writing this letter to let you know what you mean to me. (I'm sorry if it comes out corny but it's what I feel.)
I remember my first months as a vampire, they were horrible. Not only because I wasn't human anymore but also because even though I wasn't completely alone I felt empty like a shell.
I hated Carlisle for turning me into a monster so I spent most of my time either ignoring or yelling at him. I told him that I was supposed to die that night, that it had been my time to go and that he shouldn't have taken that away from me, that it wasn't his choice.
He felt sorry for me; I could see it in his eyes every time he talked to me. But he never apologized. He said time and time again that he never regretted making that decision. That when he saw me something inside told him to do it, to change me. He felt that I deserved a better life, a second chance to live.
I never understood what he meant until I saw you.
The second I laid eyes on you everything he once told me made perfect sense. I knew I had to save you, that you needed to live one way or another.
And just like Carlisle, I never regretted it.
I still believe that turning you was the best decision I ever made.
You are my everything, the only thing that matters. You gave me hope when I thought there was nothing to live for, you changed my existence.
Because we are made for each other, and I know it every time I look into your eyes.
Because I have you till the end of times and it doesn't get better than that.
Because you love me inside and out.
Because I never thought one could love with such intensity.
Because the word love isn't enough to describe what I feel about you.
Because when you make love to me we become one and it's only you and me.
