[A/N] Just a quick thing to do. It's suppose to take place during the Neutral ending of Bioshock 2, after Subject Delta dies. Yeah... Bioshock 2 belongs to 2K Games respectively.

"The Rapture dream is over, and in waking I'm alone.

Mother, I left behind and you chose to die rather than have me follow you. But you gave me the greatest gift of all, something I have never had.

My freedom.

There is no name for what I am, but the world is about to change. I thought we would seize it together, yet as I sat there with you I wondered if even I could be redeemed. Your sacrifice gave me hope. But father, wherever you are…

I miss you."

Eleanor stared at Subject Delta, unmoving. She quickly scattered to her father, clinging onto his suit, slightly shaking him.

"Father? Father? Please, don't leave me... Not yet." Tears silently dripped down her cheeks. She tried to look inside his helmet, but couldn't see anything. Her hand landed on his helmet, staying there for sometime before Eleanor moved back to her old spot and placed her legs over Sinclair's escape pod once again, dipping her feet into the cold water.

The thought of now, facing the world on the Surface, scared her enough, but knowing that she's all alone killed her more. Eleanor began to tear up again, she was alone in the world. Mother is dead, none of the Little Sisters left, and Father now dead.

Something floating in the water caught Eleanor's attention. It was headed towards her, and slowly made it's way to her, hitting the side of her boot softly.

She scooped it up and it brought even more tears to her eyes. It was her doll she made to look like Subject Delta

Her fingers traced over the stitches, remembering the time when her and Subject Delta went out to collect ADAM, and she pulled out the doll and showed him the doll.

"Look Daddy, it's you!"

She began crying even more, as she held onto the tiny doll tightly. It was the only thing that would accompany her. On the lonely journey she would face onto land.

Eleanor shuddered a shaky sigh as she slowly got up. Looking around, there seemed to be something off in the distance.

She turned around to look at her Father's corpse, not knowing exactly what to do. The only option would be to let his body drift to the bottom of the ocean.

"Oh Father, forgive me." She flipped him over to face the sky, and crossed his arms over his chest. Looking at him and figuring that she still held onto her doll, she figured it would be better if she left the doll behind. Just to start fresh and leave any unwanted memories behind where it belongs. She tucked the doll into his strong hands, and then as gently as the young woman could, she pushed him off the ledge, watching as he sunk to the ground, with the doll between his hands.

A bright vivid light shone onto her, making Eleanor shield her eyes.

"Hello! We saw something floating around here, you alright miss?" She saw two men in a boat, looking at her. A tiny smile made it's way on her face. Coming up with the best story, she couldn't make up much.

"Yes, I'm alright. I was diving and got stuck in my vessel for sometime now."

"Need a ride back to land?" Her heart thumped in her chest. Land. What she has been waiting all this time. "Yes, thank you."

One of the men helped her climb up onto the boat, and placed a blanket over her tiny frame.

"Is there anyone else who was with you miss?" Her light blue eyes scanned over the grey sky and gloomy sea.

"There was, but not anymore." The men looked back at her, and then turned to start the boat.

"We're sorry for your loss." The engine started and began to take them away from Sinclair's escape pod. Looking back once more, taking a quick glance at the lighthouse that bean to slowly disappear, Eleanor shuddered.

"I am too."
