THUD! The young man collapsed on the grass growing on the rolling
hills of Hyrule field. He dropped all his equipment on the grass beside
him: a hammer, bow and arrows, bombs, a sturdy shield and the blade of
evil's bane; The Master sword. With the great weight of his equipment off
of his back he felt free but even with this new found sense of freedom he
had another burden that he had to bear that he just couldn't toss aside
like his accessories. It was the fate of Hyrule that he alone had to take
into his own hands and protect from the evil Ganondorf. "Why me?" the hero
thought "Why do I have to be Hyrule's glorious savior, the great Hero of
Time?" The more the hero thought about it the better the idea of just
leaving his junk in the middle of the field sounded. "Zelda" he said
aloud, he knew she was out there somewhere, hiding from the King of Evil's
grasp. He reached into a pouch and pulled out his blue ocarina. As he
sat there he remembered a lullaby that he learned in Zelda's garden. He
puts the ocarina to his lips and begins to play as he becomes lost in
memories of younger days and good times gone by. As he plays he remembers
why he does what he does. He pulled the sword from the pedestal because he
loved this land of Hyrule too much to let the Gerudo take over. With new
found inspiration he collected his weapons and junk, mounted Epona rode off
for the next temple.
