Scene: Beach

Kairi's POV

I love the beach, the sand is just sooooo soft! I'm here with Riku, the kill joy.He's been my best friend for a very long time, as long as I can remember I think.

Hey, who's that boy? I've never seen him before

"Riku, do you know that boy?"

"No, I've never seen him before."

"Well, lets go say hi."

"Wait-"

He tried to stop me but I'd already run off. Riku followed me. I go over to the boy, he's just staring out at the ocean. I tap him on the shoulder. He turns around.

Wow! He has such pretty blue eyes, and his messy brown hair, it makes him look cute. He'd look better if his eyes didn't look so sad, why are they sad? What's there to be sad about?

"Hi!" I say breaking out of daze.

"Hello" he replies

"I'm Kairi and this is my friend Riku, what's your name?"

"My name is Sora."

"It's nice to meet you Sora!"

"Kairi?" ah, I'd almost forgot about Riku.

"Yes Riku?"

"I don't think you should be talking to him, he doesn't look safe."

"What are you talking about Riku? He seems completely safe."

"Bet my dad isn't" Sora cuts in.

"What do you mean Sora?"

"He's not very nice. I have to go, before he sees me talking to you two otherwise he'll be mad, and he might come after you." and with that he runs off.

"What did I tell you? He's not safe" Riku says

"Come on Riku, somethings wrong. He seemed really scared of his dad, more then someone should be."

"Kairi."

"No! Riku, if you won't help me then I'll do it on my own!" and with that I run of. Why is Riku so convinced that Sora is trouble, he's seems relly sweet. I need to find out what's up, but how? It's not like Sora will tell me, I don't know were he lives and I can't wait for us to become good friends, something bad might happen by then. What am I going to do?
