It's been minutes since they have fought against Wizzro, and they are about to leave the temple. As they walked, Zelda has noticed how silent Impa is.
This is annoying, the princess groaned. I showed myself to her as Sheik, and she won't say a word to me.
"Impa..." she tries starting a conversation between them.
"Yes, princess?" Impa spoke, and that got her attention.
"Are you angry about...?"
"I'm not angry or anything. For someone like you to just reveal yourself under that mask while your true self is being impersonated, I must say that you have got our enemies off-guard."
"Um, thank you for saying that," the princess is glad to be complimented, but she's feeling guilty of not telling her close bodyguard of her secret. "Also, I'm sorry."
"For what?" Impa asked, not looking annoyed, but concerned.
"For not telling you my true identity while I was Sheik. I wasn't thinking through all this; the entire Hyrulean forces worrying about me not being there, you not having trust in me as a complete stranger, being impersonated. Everything," Zelda confessed. "I'm just glad you took the revelation well."
"Yeah, well. Just try to be open to us the next time you appear as a warrior who wasn't even from my own village."
"I will. I promise."
"I know..."
The two women smiled at each other. Impa is just glad that her princess okay, and that she's right that her being Sheik just got their enemies off-guard. Zelda is just glad that she let everything out in her chest towards her close confidant.
As they went outside, light has shine the princess and Impa witnessed her transforming into Sheik once again.
"You're right. I should have been open to you and the others when I'm like this," Sheik confessed with guilt. "That could have avoided the chaos and confusion from within my own forces."
"Princess..." Impa couldn't believe what she's doing just now. Why is she even doing this at the time when there are pressing matters to attend to?
"I think I'll be in this form only for emergencies that I can't manage as the princess."
"Yeah, that's a great idea. Also, try to come up with better excuses for us to know what she's up to when you're like this."
"I'll be sure to keep that in mind."
With this agreement sealed between them, Sheik glows once again to transform back into Zelda. She may have deceived her own bodyguard as her other self, but at the same time, she has regained her trust as her other self.
