Samurai Champloo: Later Chapters of Mugen
Six months after the parting of Mugen, Jin, and Fuu, they had all moved on for the most part, still reminiscing from time to time. But they had all made new lives for themselves, as well as new friends. The three have greatly changed.
Part 1: Mugen
Out of the three, Mugen has changed the most. After his battle with Kariya Kagetoki, he has begun to rethink his fighting style of Champuru Kendo. Continuing his life as a vagabond, he has gone from dojo to dojo training with different masters, in order to better hone his skills as a samurai.
He keeps with him a new companion, named Rai. His origins are unknown because much of his past is blanked-out. The two are traveling for their own reasons, but they are willing to aid each other as they go.
Mugen's physical appearance hasn't changed much as he is still wearing his clothing loose and baggy. He also carries his repaired double-edged katana. The only real change is his cut hair. He now wears it trimmed and well-kept. Other than that, Mugen is still the same as he always was: a violent and fight seeking samurai.
