"Hey, Lieutenant. Have you and the Colonel ever hooked up?"
His fingers were so nimble. No matter how many times he expertly unhooked her bra, it never failed to surprize Riza. A smirk appeared on Roy's face at the sound of her light gasp. He brought his finger up to his lips to remind her that they couldn't risk a sound. After all, the only privacy they could get at work was a coat closet down the hall from his office.
"Don't be ridiculous, Fuery. Colonel Mustang is an old, dear friend."
The blonde watched as Roy playfully wrestled with the overgrown mongrel that wondered the streets of her hometown. The way he laughed and happily lived his free time was always enjoyable. She only watched for a few moments longer before calling him in for dinner. The young boy hurried inside, pausing only long enough to give her cheek a delicate kiss, one her father never needed to know about.
"He was my father's apprentence so he is more like a sibling."
Riza quietly brought in a blanket to wrap around the young boy. He had fallen asleep with his head in one of the many books that he was to have read by the end of the week. She smiled to herself and gently stepped away. When she turned, a hand wrapped around her wrist to stop her. Her chocolate eyes locked onto his charcoal ones. Her heart fluttered, a trapped bird within her cage of a chest. He grinned. She blushed as a response.
"We don't have the desire to go down that route, especially now that he is my superior."
Heavy breathing was the only sound in the dark room. Her father was gone now, leaving her alone. That was, until he came back. Dressed in the military blues, standing next to her as the man who had been her only company for a long time was lowered into the ground, he never gave her a chance to grieve. Perhaps, he did, but not in the way he should have. They were cuddled together in the drafty room. A thin sheet loosely draped over his bare chest and along her marred back. She was invested now, wanting to remain by his side for eternity. After their night of passion, she knew then that she would follow him anywhere.
"We have never once done anything that would be viewed as scandalous and uncivilized as 'hooking up'."
With that, the First Lieutenant stormed off. The Colonel shifted a few papers once she slammed the door shut. Everyone stared for a few moments before getting back to their own work. Roy stood and addressed them, telling them that he would return shortly, that he had research to look into and he expected them to watch themselves until Hawkeye returned. Carefully, he retreated out of the room, headed straight for the coat closet up the hall.
