A/N: This is for the five drabbles competition. George/Verity

"Come on, George, go ask her! She'll be leaving soon!" Fred said. Fred was right, seeing how the sunshine was fading when you looked out the window of Weasley's Wizarding Wheezes. George stared at the counter of the shop Fred and he owned. Behind the counter stood the blond shop assistant, Verity Matthews.

"I'm going, I'm going." George said. But he didn't move until Fred pushed him forward, hard. George stopped right in front of the counter.

"Is there anything I can do for you, Mister George?" she asked, not even looking up.

"Um, well-" the red head started. He cast a steamy glance at Fred, who was trying to hold back laughter a few feet behind him. "I was just curious to see if you, um, would like to go on a date with me this Friday night."

"This isn't a prank?" Verity asked with a small smile. George shook his head.

"We could walk to this amazing muggle restaurant after we close shop."

"I'd love to." Verity said. "What restaurant?"

"You'll see." George said with a mischievous smirk before running back to Fred.

Verity sighed. Just the thought of walking on the streets of muggle London in the sunshine with her crush made her feel all giddy inside.
