This fic makes place after second cutscene in Malefor's lair in DOTD.
Spyro and Cynder were drained up after striking Malefor last time,and fell down to the ground.
"We won Cynder" - Spyro says.
"I know Spyro" - Cynder answered.
"And I'm not sure about that", mysterious voice talked from behind of them and that was Malefor's voice. "You really thinked that such a pitiful attack could defeat me.I was able to drain Ignitus power in the belt of fire from that distanse, and you think I would die so easily.
"NO" - Spyro screamed, it was Malefor fault that Ignitus died in belt of then changed at his dark form and attacked Dark Master, but he was too slow and he was hit by Malefor's tail and pinned to the ground.
"And now, you'll die Cynder" - Dark Master roared.
"Cynder!!!". Spyro tried to get up but he was too late Malefor already killed her.
"You see little dragon, you are weakling" - Malefor says
"I won't let you, go away with this Malefor". Spyro started to change his dark form vanished just before bright gold covered his scales and his pupils turned power kept increasing when suddenly his horns grow longer up to base of his tail and electricity started to surround was in his Super state.
He punched Malefor with such a power that Malefor never imagined, then he went to Cynder's dragon concentrated all his energy on bringing her back and after minute he did was startled what was that, but she was interrupted by Dark Master scream.
"How did you gain that power?".
"Not only power, but speed too ."

Spyro returned with Terrador, Volteer and Cyril and he put them behind a barrier of his own power with Cynder.
"You see Malefor, You're toast just like Gaul." Malefor tried to slow time(he slowed it so much that light was slower than him).
But even with that he was unable to even sense Spyro moving.
Then he saw his doom. Spyro jumped back and started yelling to him
"KA...ME...HA...ME"
"It can't be"
"HA times 10"
Red beam of pure energy and spirit was strong enought to not only kill Dark Master but also gave planet energy to gather , suddenly Purple savior fainted.
6 months later
"Did Spyro woke up?" - Cynder asked.
"Not, yet." - Guardians answered
"But what was that power, he used?" - Black dragoness thinked about it.
"That was, propably something like his dark form but turned to light because of love to someone." - Terrador supposed.
Cynder went to Spyro's room, quietly closed door behind her, and stood on his left was unconscious for six months after battle with layed down just in front of him and she said 3 words
"I love you".
