I'm falling.
Too quickly for me to grab onto anything.
Too quickly for me to keep my thoughts clear.
Too quickly for me to do anything.
And it scares me.
I'm falling in love with you.
I see your face every time I close me eyes. It comes to me so clearly, unlike my thoughts.
And every time I try to pull out of this dangerous fall, your eyes draw me back in, holding me captive. Won't you please let me go?
For I know that I do not hold the key to your heart.
And you need not torture me everyday with your eyes…because every day, I'm falling deeper and faster. And one day…I will reach the bottom. And what will be down there? Sharp rocks that will break the bones in my body as quickly as you are breaking me heart.
No lifeline will come down, and I will be stuck in that place forever.
