Some Toys are not for playing with…

The little girl stroked her pokeplush lovingly. She'd always had a love of the things and though her friends were creeped out by the doll that had been abandoned by the side of the road she'd fallen in love with it. They said it was creepy and it had a hateful look in its button eyes and that was part of the reason she loved it so much. It was different, like her.

The day she'd adopted it people her age had started avoiding her as she took it everywhere. She was never apart from Zoozy as she had named it and her fellow children were frightened by her attachment to it, as well as the doll in general. The pokémon were afraid of it too. Whenever she walked the route near her home tailow would stop in their song and mother swellow would call them away. For once the tailow wouldn't need encouragement to run, and would fly to hide under their mother's wings.

The girl would walk the route until she reached a hill with a tree at its top. She sat under a tree because she knew Zoozy couldn't stand the sun, and there'd only be so long before there was no protection at all. He stared emptily on as his zipper mouth stayed in its permanent grin. His patched-up grey side had a small bit of black fluff hanging out. She smiled. She didn't care what others thought. She could see he loved her, even if no one else did.

Her parents hadn't understood. He asked her to do things. She knew she owed it to him. Zoozy bought her happiness on the cold autumn days when she missed them, and on the other days she'd let the chilly winds freeze her heart to prepare her for the next task. She would always do them with only the love of her toy in her mind. She would always do his tasks. Even if it meant she was the one who had to hold the bloody knife.

A/N: Hey Guyz! I know it's probably not that good but this was my first attempt at a horror one shot. Quite obviously this isn't the best thing I've written so please leave a review on how I can improve as I want to deliver excellent stories for your pleasure. It was a bit short but I did my best. I hope you liked it, and have a hauntingly good Halloween!
