Pokémon - Another Story Chapeter 1: New Place, New Dreams.
"Come on Sylvia," her mother yelled from the kitchen "wake up!" As Sylvia's mother finished her sentence Sylvia began to stir. Today was the day Sylvia would finally begin traveling around Kalos to determine what she wanted to do with her life. Although usually the age to do this was ten years, Sylvia's worrywart of a mother held her back so she would be a bit more mature despite being quite in nature.
Sylvia glanced at herself with her eyes half open in the mirror. What would usaly be a neat ponytail or plat was instead a messy bed head. Sylvia groaned has she began to style her honey blonde hair into a long ponytail. Even though she had done this for years, it felt like she'd never had did it before. Each strand and lock of her smooth shiny hair felt as if it was the first time she had ever seen it. Sylvia put down her brush and noticed a photo in her peripheral vision. She took a closer look at the 6 figures in the photo 2 of them being her mother and a much younger version of herself. Sylvia grimaced at the lack of knowledge about who the other 4 people were. All she knew was that they still live in Hoenn and will be coming to Kalos around next month. At least that's what she was told. Her mother walked in at that moment and noticed Sylvia focused onto the photo "You know they haven't seen you in forever," her mother said snapping Sylvia out of her moment " I know that they really want to see you after recent events keeping us miles apart."
"Yea but I barely even know who they are," Sylvia replies grasping the photo frame tightly into her hands " in fact I barley know anyone in the family"
" Cheer up kiddo," her mother said in the most cheerful voice she could muster trying to break the cold and dead silence of Slyvia's new room "Come on I want to give my little Darling something before she leaves for her journey." Sylvia followed her mother wondering what was this thing her mother wanted her to receive.
