Author's Note: This little Yu Yu Hakusho tale is a parody of the infamous introduction to the U.S. version of Zero Wing, an old arcade game. If you played it, you'll understand the reference.
Yu Yu Hakusho: Zero Yusuke
IN THE YEAR A.D. 1992...
DEATH BY AUTOMOBILES WAS BEGINNING.
*Yusuke Urameshi has just died and arrives in the River Styx*
Yusuke: What Happen!?
Botan: Somebody has set up you the death!
Yusuke: What the hell!? You got worms in your ears, lady? Start talking some clear Japanese or I'm going to ---- Whoa!!!
*Botan takes Yusuke to Koenma Junior's Castle, where he is greeted by George, Koenma's ogre assistant*
George: We get signal!
Botan: WHAT!?
George: Main screen turn on!
Yusuke: Hey, what the hell is going on? Why is everyone talking so stupid? Wait a minute, why am I talking so stupid as well!?
*Koenma's image appears on a widescreen TV*
Yusuke: *gasps* Its you!!
Koenma: How are you gentlemen! All your souls are belong to us.
Yusuke: *laughs hysterically* You mean to tell me I'm supposed to be frightened by a toddler who can barely change his own diaper!? Bwaaa ha ha ha ha!!! Yeah, that's an introduction for the newly arrived dead! Now, please, where's the REAL owner of this place so I can sock him one!?
Koenma: You are on the way to destruction.
Botan: Destruction for the gentlemen that insult my great Koenma.
George: Koenma destroy lady insult gentlemen.
Yusuke: *backs up a bit, starting to become scared* Okay, guys, this isn't funny anymore. I don't get the joke, but... WHAT YOU SAY!! *drops down to his knees and slamming his fist on the floor*
Koenma: You have no chance to survive make your time. HA HA HA HA.....
George: Yusuke!!
Yusuke: *closes his eyes, holding his folded hands to his chin* Take off every 'Spirit Detective'!!
*Kazuma Kuwabara, Hiei Jaganshi, and Kurama walk into an open field*
Yusuke: You know what you doing.
Yusuke: Move, 'Spirit Detective'.
Yusuke: For great justice.
*Koenma's castle explodes into nothingness. Kuwabara, Hiei, and Kurama exchange glances*
Kuwabara: Hey, did you guys just hear something a moment ago?
Hiei: Hearing things again, baka?
Kurama: Um, I honestly forgot what our mission just was...
