Rating: PG
Warning/Spoilers: If you haven't watched glee then you are screwed. This is sad.
Disclaimer: I own nothing. If I did then I wouldn't need all these damn student loans.
Summary: Rachel is done. She has had enough.
A/N: I wrote this while on a mix of Benadryl and muscle relaxers. I have had writers block. Trying to shake it. I got in a car accident and am trying to focus on things that have nothing to do with what my nightmares are holding. I hope you like it. If you really like this I might be persuaded to write more. Haven't decided yet.
"Fuck it." Rachel whispered under her breath. She was so tired of this. She had a vailid point, a good idea and everyone shoots it down because of who they think she is. None of them even bother looking beyond her walls. They just see the diva not the girl.
'What did you say hobbit?" an agitated Santana glares at her. Ever since Brittany told her she couldn't brake Artie's heart and broke hers she had been more of a bitch then usual.
Rachel raises her head and looks right at Santana. "I said said Fuck. It. I am done. I am done allowing you all to make me feel worse then I already do every fucking day of my life." She growls her words as everyone in the room looks at her in shock. Rachel Berry does not swear. Rachel throws her pen and papers in the general direction that everyone is sitting before not stomping but running out the door.
The sound that can be heard is Rachel's feet slamming against tile, then pavement. She can't hear anything else, doesn't notice the person running after her, the person who finally broke her after years of trying. The person who had been snuggling up to another, whispering the same words of love that they had whispered to her last night. She knows that this person is too afraid to come out right now. After what happened to Kurt who could blame her. She just can't watch her look at him and whisper the same words in his ear that she was whispering to hers less than twenty-four hours ago.
Suddenly she feels something tug and she is falling. She hits the cement hard. Her knees are throbbing and skinned up. Her palms are read and her wrist really hurts. Warm strong arms are wrapping themselves around her. The voice attached to the body is whispering what they think are words of love and comfort. Rachel can only see them as lies.
Pulling away she glares at the girl who has made high school hell and is killing her heart every day. "Stop Quinn. Just stop. I can't listen to any more lies about how much you love me. If you really loved me you would be with me and not sitting on his lap. I'm done. I can't do this anymore. I just.. I can't" Before the other girl can say or do anything Rachel is up and running again. Her body protests every step, but not nearly as much as her heart. She keeps running no specific destination in mind. She just wants to get away from the lies and the pain. She just wants to feel whole again. Her heart knows she won't. The only time she feels whole is when she is wrapped up in pale arms and staring into hazel eyes.
