Ch 1. Beginnings
I swung my sword at the enemies in shining armor will running across the field of dirt spotted with grass hear and there. It was morning and the sun was rising in the distance making the sky glow with a beautiful orange color. Above were dragons fighting. Fire blazing across the sky and biting each other tearing at each others flesh. Dead or almost dead dragons fell from the sky in defeat crushing anything under them as they made contact with the ground making the earth tremble. I noticed a lot of the dragons above had a long strip of yellow clothe at the tip of there wings and wasn't attacking the dragons that too has yellow cloth. The dragons with cloth were only fighting the dragons without a long cloth.
"Hm, that's smart. They're using the long cloth to show who's on whose side so they don't kill their teammate thinking they were one the enemies side."
The person I was spectating stopped mid sprint as a huge dragon landed on its claws several feet in front of me. The dragon's body was on fire but wasn't being harmed by the flames coating its body. Holding my sword and shield in front of me in a defensive stance. The dragon's eyes burned with fury and rage as it looked for a target. Finally its eyes spotted me and with a roar that would give an old guy a heart attack it threw up a massive amount of flame at me. I dodged with ease and ran at the fire covered beast. The dragon moved its head trying to hit me with the lie of fire. Jumping in the air dodging the moving attack and landing on its head. I jumped again as it swung its head up trying to see were I went.
As gravity pulled me back to the ground I had my sword pointy end down in a stabbing fashion the sword penetrated its skull and into its brain killing it instantly. The beast slumped to the ground motionless. Dead. I jumped to the ground and a HUGE dud came running at me with his axe over his head ready to chop me in half. With in seconds he was in front of me. To my horror his axe quickly came down at me. Just before his axe made contact everything went black.
