A Voice from Above
Somewhere in the hereafter
Betty, Joe, Mary, and Linda was watching the family from above. Joe smiled at the sight of Danny arresting Dewann Wilson in the Miami Beach Hotel. "Danny always did things with a certain flair."
Mary shook her head. "Too much flair if you asked me honey."
"Well he is my father's son after all." Joe replied with a smirk on his face. He then noticed Linda and Betty looking concern. "What is it?"
"It's that man that is doing the shooting." Betty replied as Mary and Joe came on over. All of them looked down on to Jamie and Eddie as Jamie was finishing up telling Eddie about what he would do with the five million dollar settlement. "They don't know he is after them."
"We have to warn them." Joe said in reply looking as the RMP began to slow down near a coffee shop.
Linda nodded her agreement. "Joe's right we have too."
"We're not allowed too unless they ask for our guidance sweetie." Mary countered Joe's argument, even though she agreed with the statement. "He won't allow us to do it. If it is one of their time, then that is the plan."
"We never retreat and never surrender dear." Betty countered her daughter in law's statement. She looked down again as Eddie got out of the RMP and start towards the coffee shop. "You know she won't truly move on if anything happens to him."
Joe nodded in agreement with his grandmother. He took a spiritual breath as the warning went out. "I will take whatever punish he has for me, but I am going to warn her."
Mary looked worried but nodded. Joe vanished from sight as she looked on in worry. Her baby boy's life was in danger and she hoped Joe would get the message to Jamie's partner and soulmate in time.
Down in the coffee shop Joe came right next to Eddie as the description of the vehicle and suspect went out over the air. "That is the man who is doing the killing right there. If you hurry you can protect Jamie. He is the love of your life, and your soulmate. Hurry."
As the BMW left the curb and Eddie rushed to the door, Joe returned to the hereafter. He arrived in time to watch Eddie fire the fatal round to the man that had killed five people. They all smiled as Eddie and Jamie talked and hugged. Joe turned to the Reagan ladies. "She'll fit in well with our family wont she."
The three lady Reagan's nodded their agreement. The next day everyone was smiles again as they watched what they already knew what would happen. Jamie and Eddie were becoming one, and watched with pride and joy as she was accept into the family as one of them.
