Fez was out at some bar today, trying to pick up a date. Forman and Kelso were taking advantage of the fact that they didn't have to watch their kids today, and Hyde didn't care that his buds weren't there. He was having fun watching the little squirts, even if it was tiring.
"Uncle Hyde, I'm hungry," Luke Forman wailed.
"Alright, who else is hungry?" Hyd asked, rocking Zeke in his arms.
There was a chorus of kids agreeing and answering yes. I was around snack time after all... All the kids hopped up and ran into the kitchen to sit at the table. Zeke was placed in the bassinet that Jackie kept in the kitchen so she could have her little boy near her while she fixed dinner. Hyde made sandwiches and poured root beer into the kids' cups.
After they started eating, while Hyde was watching Zeke snooze in his cradle, Leia asked, "Uncle Hyde, why did my mommy and daddy give me my name?"
Hyde looked up and answered, "Because you dad is a Star Wars loving freak."
"What's Star Wars?"
"Ask your dad, he'll tell you all about it."
"Okay," Leia said smiling before she picked up her cup and took a big gulp of soda.
After the snacks were eaten and the mess was cleaned up, Hyde came back into the living room to find all the kids running around and jumping on the furniture. "Hey, hey, hey! Get down from there Luke!" Hyde pulled his best friend's three year-old off the back of the couch before he could practice "flying".
As soon as Luke was plopped back on his feet, Hyde had to pull Betsy off the bookshelf before she could fall off and pull a Kelso. Leia and Kathy were hopping from the coffee table to the chairs as if the floor was made of lava and knocked over one of Jackie's cheerleading trophies. "Okay kids. It's time to go outside and play."
"Yay! they all squealed as they stopped everything they were doing and rushed into the yard.
Hyde picked up his wife's trophy and closed the door behind the kids before he stopped to watch them through the window. "Damn, why do they grow up so fast?"
