It was Jessica D' Fitzgerald first day at Mystic Falls High School, and she was very nervous. She'll be the new girl instead of the old kid. She felt butterflies in her stomach, and it make her didn't want to eat breakfast this morning, and yet her mother didn't noticed.

Jessica only lives with her mother, and moved here in Mystic Falls because, of her father, who is a drinker, & a serial killer, & he abused her when she was little, so her mother finally had the courage to stand up for herself and move far away so they can have a peaceful normal family lives. Jessica always wonder why her father came this way.

Jessica shook her head away from the thoughts. She wish she could forget her father but she can't all those childhood memories keep coming. Jessica take a deep breath and than out before entering into school. She could hear her heart pounding fast and louder. She felt like to sweat. She looked down on the floor so she won't look at anyone. She bumped into some-one and she fell. Rubbing her back of her head.

"Sorry." a soft male voice from the front of her.

"No, i'm the one who be sorry." replied Jessica.

The teenage boy gave her a hand and helped her up and giving her book's. Jessica smiled at him, and he smiled back.

"Thanks. I'm Jessica D' Fitzgerald." interduced Jessica.

"I'm Damon. Damon Salvatore." interduced Damon. "You're new right?"

"Yeah," Jessica nodded. "I just started today." Damon smiles.

"Well, Jessica, welcome to Mystic's Falls." said Damon.

"Can't believe this is happing. In my old school my old town don't say welcome when I'm new."

"So Jessica, where's your first class, I can show you the way." Damon said.

"I have Math in first period." Damon smiles. "Your in luck, I have that class."

Damon take's Jessica left hand gently and walked together down the hall. He explained the history of Mystic's Fall the whole way to the classroom, telling Jessica about the best place to hang out, the cool teachers, and some history about Vampires who lived here in Mystic Falls.

Now it's lunch period. Jessica was grabbing her food, and she noticed Damon.

"Well, what a pleasure to see you." Damon said. Jessica kinda laugh a little.

"Did your mother teach you well manners?" Jessica joked a little.

"Yeah. But it's not a big once you get used to it." explained Damon. They decieded to sat together at lunch.

"I wonder what will mom thinks when she asked me how was school today?"

Jessica was finished eating, so was Damon. She was gonna thrown away but Damon decieded to a gentle men and do it for her. "Wow! This is the first time somone did this for me!"

After school, she got off the school bus and went to her house. She couldn't wait to tell her mother what just happened today. But what Jessica didn't know was that Mystic Falls was going to change her life completely.
