'Ping'
"Ugh" Percy moaned out as he opened his eyes and sure enough there it was that blue box that greeted him every morning for the past three days signifying that this was in fact not a dream.

Reaching up and pressing the small x in the corner he sighed and began to accept the fact that his life is now game. After getting around for school he heard another 'ping' as a second blue box appeared in front of his face.

Percy quickly looked down and there was in fact a smaller blue square below the main one that said {Continue?} tapping it tentatively both blue squares closed and a third one opened with a customary 'Ping'

[Gamer's Body] LVL:[MAX]: This ability prevents the user from sustaining any damage to the gamers physical body and converts it into lost HP. furthermore this ability prevents negative effects from starvation, and sleep deprivation as game characters do not need to sleep or eat.

When the player enters a water body they also gain a temporary buff of 1000Mp, 1000Hp, 150%Hp regen, and 150%Mp regen.

You also have access to an [Options] menu that will allow a small amount of customization for quality of life improvements, a [Status] menu for monitoring your growth, swapping titles, and application of stat points, a [Skill] menu to review,perks or skills, and monitor skills progression, finally the player has access to the [Inventory] menu allowing unlimited storage of all objects that the player can pick up, does not include living beings, also has a specific storage space for currencies.}
Percy's mind was officially blown after reading that massive wall of text 'w-what the hell? What?!' as his mind raced and he started freaking out he heard grover snore from outside the bathroom and quickly used [The Gamer's Mind] skill to dim his reaction and allow him to think this through normally.
' ok ok think i apparently have some sort of super secret heritage that gives me superpowers on top of the ones i got from...whatever gave me the game powersi...i should probably check my stats yeah that's a good idea ok' "umm open status?"
'Ping!' and a new blue window opened up closing the previous one.

'Ummm what." percy eloquently said as he stared at his species. 'What does demi-? Mean am i not a human?' percy sighed again and just reached up and tapped the small x in the corner the rest could wait for later as far as he was concerned he couldn't afford to be late today as he was already on probation plus it was a field trip with the one teacher had any faith in.
Walking back into his bedroom percy went to the beds and started shaking his roommate and best friend grover awake when he noticed something odd floating above grovers head

'Uhh what squinting hard at grovers lvl and...title he guesses percy tried to figure out why his friend was so many levels above his own when 'Ping' two small blue screen jumped in front of his face, reading.

In less then a second percy was using his new found skill on his best friend to find out why he's a level 25 while percy himself is still just measly level 1, and to say the least what he found out was shocking.

'Grover's a goat!' was the only thing running through percy's mind as took a step back tripped and fell on his causing a load crash to sound startling grover awake.
"Uh Wha!' grover shouted out sitting up wide eyed with one hand clutching something under his pillow looking around for the sound of the loud noise before his landed on percy "oh jeez man gave me a heart attack" he sighed out as he relaxed and pulled his hand out from under his pillow.
"Gave you heart attack? I just found out my best friends half goat!" percy said remembering some of the myths he learned about it in Mr. Not Brunner's class as he quickly calmed down using gamers mind after his outburst.
"Bahahahow er um i don't what your talking about" Grover said quickly turning his head away and crossing his arms. Percy just deadpanned stared at him.
"Dude you just bleated, and you suck at lying" percy stated continuing to blankly stare at his best friend. "Why didn't you tell me?"
After a brief pause quickly followed by a long drawn out sigh grover said "Because man the more you known about that stuff the faster they can find you, and it's my job to keep you safe until you reach camp"
"Camp, what camp? And what do you mean protect me i've been getting into fights to stop you from getting bullied all year" Percy aggressively stated.
"I known and i appreciate it percy but the thing is there's things out there coming after you because of who you are and it's my job to keep an eye on you to make sure something doesn't kill you" grover started looking around nervously and reached under his pillow again pulling out a set off reed pipes and clutching them close to him.
"Monsters right? And since your a satyr im guessing there greek?" percy said as the seriousness of his situation finally dawned on him with a 'Ping'.

"Oh crap dude we are gonna be late!" Percy yelled jumping up hitting yes and throwing on his shoes as Grover looked dumbfounded for a moment before he too started scrambling about to get ready. In they barely made it with 2 minutes and 4 seconds remaining on Percy's quest.
Breathing a sigh of relief as they boarded the bus Percy heard it 'Ping'

The new window closed itself quickly as percy heard another ping.

Percy looked around and noticed no one else was able to see the boxes sighing in relief he looked at gover as he pointed to the boxes "so are um are these box things normal for other people like me?"
"What boxes?" grover asked looking slightly weirded out by the question. Percy sighed and closed them able to tell grover obviously wasn't lying about this. He was just to easy to read. 'Ping' 'what now?'

With a deep sigh Percy looked over at Grover as the bus began to move and said "so why don't you tell me about that camp and about what I am?"
A.N. Im looking forward to actually writing this and will most likely have another chapter up by next week but first plot planning and abilities. If you have any suggestions for how the story should progress im open to suggestions because right now I have an end and a beginning but no real middle plotted out, also if you notice any mistakes with my grammar or spelling please let me know so i can fix it.
