Hello I am Aurora Blackrosé! This is one of my first fan-fics so please only constructive critics. I will try to keep this as original as possible.
Disclaimer: I do not own any of the Artemis Fowl characters, I only own myself, and possibly a pair of pants that Arty will be wearing.
Chapter 1
The early morning mist covers the large and sinister Fowl Manor. The Irish grass around it a sparkling evergreen. The only interruption of the evergreen carpet was a small winding walkway. And upon this walk way was a girl.
She had short uneven auburn hair in mild curls. Fair skinned with light freckles and long red eyelashes, with matching brows that frame emerald eyes, hidden behind large glasses that overwhelmed her tiny face. She had on a long trench coat that was 4 times to large with a black shirt and ripped jeans. She was thin, but not beautifully. She had no womanly curves nor graceful deposits of muscle mass. Around her neck was a small white gold heart with a tiny diamond embedded in it.
Her walk was quick and nervous. She approached the door and rang the bell. It's deep melodious tune could be heard echoing through the large manor.
SQEEEEAK! The door opened and stood a giant. An enormous man without hair. Butler.
"May I help you." he said, even his voice was intimidating.
"I-I-I-I'm the exchange student from the U.S. Aurora Black." she managed to stutter.
"Please come in." He said holding the door open.
He lead her down the long hallways until she could faintly hear a conversation in a nearby room.
"Arty we have good news we have an exchange student coming today."
"Really, that's wonderful mother." the supposed 'Arty' responded, careful hints of sarcasm layered his voice.
"I'm so glad you approve darling, she'll be staying the guestroom next to yours."
The rest was muffled as Butler spoke again.
" Wait here, I'm going to tell the Fowl's of your arrival."
He left before she could respond.
He returned as quickly as he left and beckoned her to another room.
In there stood the infamous Artemis Fowl II mother Angeline Fowl, and his father, Artemis Fowl I.
"Hello dear welcome you must be Aurora. I hope your flight was fine."
"It was fine, but I'm feeling a little jetlag would you mind if I toke a nap for an hour or two?"
"No not at all deary, you'll be stay next to Arty here. Arty please show Aurora here to her room."
"Yes mother, please Aurora, follow me."
Okay that's it for now I have tried this idea a few times before and failed miserably every time. I hope I fixed it 3rd times the charm they say! So please comment I need to know if she's a Mary-Sue!
