Once upon a time, in a kingdom known as Andalasia, a young, beautiful lady named Giselle was born. She had two very kind parents who loved her very much and taught her well. Unfortunately, they passed away on her sixteenth birthday because of severe illness. Giselle became so depressed and lonely, but a few weeks afterward, she became great friends with the affectionate creatures of the forest she lived in. Everyday, they would gather around and/or come in to her cottage to listen to her glamorous singing voice and her stories about a certain prince she had a massive crush on ever since her parents died. His name, was Prince Edward, and he was the leader of the land since both of his parents died, too. This guy was so good-looking, he work a dark red crimson outfit, had brown hair, blue eyes, and rode a white horse named Destiny. "Oh," Giselle sighed every time she saw him pass by her small house. "He's so pretty, I wish I could marry him." Even though she had her animal friends, and loved them very much, Giselle really needed someone that is human to be with forever. Also, she wanted to share a kiss with him, because in Giselle's opinion, a kiss was the most magical thing in all the world.

Due to this, she sang a song that she wrote everyday about sharing that with him and her dreams about their wedding. It went like this: "For all my life, I have wished for something special. A romantic evening, inside a gigantic ballroom, listening to quiet, classy music. We stand close, dance slow, my eyes can't let go of him, my heart pounds at hearing his voice, and he looks his finest. Then, in the blink of an eye, he leans over and covers my lips with his." Giselle hoped one day, Prince Edward would hear her and propose to her. But so far, nothing's happened.

One morning, she got up, took a bath, brushed her teeth, combed her hair, changed clothes, and then went to tend to her garden outside her cottage. There were roses, tulips, and daises in it. Giselle's favorite was the roses, because they reminded her of her dream. Sadly, she then realized that they were dying! So, she watered them, and brought all of her attention to them. So much attention that she didn't realized that the love of her life was walking by right behind her. He actually secretly liked Giselle, too. Almost as much as she like Edward. "Halt, Destiny!" he exclaimed, noticing her being in distress about her roses. "I must check and see if this lady is alright." With that, he got off of him, tied him to a tree, walked up to Giselle, and placed his hand on her shoulder and asked, "M'lady, are you okay?"

Giselle's eyes widened as she dropped her watering can and turned around. She was happy, indeed, but she did not know what to do. She ran away back inside her cottage. "Wait," Prince Edward said. "Please, do not run away, I come in peace." Giselle breathed heavily as she slammed the door. Then, she heard him sing. This brightened her up a bit because she did not know that her crush could sing, too. "Now that I found you, I must admit now, that I love you. You make me smile, your teeth are white enough to light up a room." Giselle was flattered, but another reason why she didn't want to approach him and talk to him is because her clothes were just awful-looking hand-me-downs, and since Prince Edward was royal, she, for some reason, though it'd be inappropriate and disrespectful to be with him wearing such dishonorable clothing. Subsequently, Giselle looked out the window only to see him walk off and get back on Destiny after he untied him. "Oh no, I should've talked to him when I had the chance!" she thought to herself. "Well, maybe next time I'll get another chance to talk to him. Now, I need to go change." Giselle went to her closet, and changed into something more appealing, and continued on with the day.
