A/N: So this is a small collection of Valentine's poems following the a, b, c, b rhyme scheme of "Roses are red/Violets are blue/...etc." These are going to be rather simple, because they're literally all drafted in the margins of my schoolbooks and are thus very short (fun fact: William Carlos Williams's poems are short largely due to the fact that he wrote them out on prescription papers (he was a doctor), which were very small).

Disclaimer: I do not own Downton Abbey

Tom Branson to Lady Sybil, 1919

Your lips are red,
Your trousers were blue,
It may not mean much,
But I'm betting on you

Matthew Crawley to Lady Mary, 1919

You sometimes are cross,
And always contrary,
But no matter what,
You're my darling Mary

Anna Smith to Mr. Bates, 1914

Roses are red
Violets are blue,
It may not be ladylike,
But John Bates, I love you

A/N: So there's the end of the first batch! Feel free to review and tell me who your favorite is, whose you think is the worst, and pairings you'd like to see. There's definitely going to be some Chelsie in the future, and some Cobert, I think, because it would be unfair to leave them out...but if there's a pairing you'd like to see, let me know!
