A/N: So, this is my first 1D fanfic, so I hope you all enjoy. It's a bit rough, and even though I checked, there's probably typos in there somewhere, so bear with me ok? Thanks!

"Oh my God! Cyndi! Can you believe we're almost there? We're about to meet One Direction!" Alicia squealed in my ear, jumping up and down excitedly…annoyingly. I groaned. As much as I loved her, my best friend had to be the most irritating fan girl on the planet, while I had no idea why I was even here. Actually, scratch that. Yes I did. She had nagged me relentlessly until I finally caved and accepted her invitation. It was her birthday after all, and her parents did pay over two hundred dollars for each of us to come. But let's get one thing clear. I am not a boy band fan.

Currently, we were in line to meet and greet the boys…and we had been…for five hours. My legs were ready to give out, my thick curly hair was sticking uncomfortably to the back of my neck, and my made up face was melting. I looked over at Alicia, who although jumping around excitedly, was perfectly beautiful as always, with not a hair out of place. I silently cursed her, pulling out my compact. I checked my face over, blotted the sweat off my brow and tried to smile. Uhg. My face was red from the heat and my hair had frizzed. How the hell did she stay so fucking perfect in this humidity?

Alicia grabbed my arm and squeaked, pulling me out of my trance. The line was moving again, meaning we were twenty steps closer to the men of her dreams. I paid no attention, and began to walk while putting my compact safely back inside my old, beaten-up purse. What was the point of watching where I was going if Alicia was leading me along already?

Finally, I looked up from my purse and over at my best friend, who was busy chatting with some groupie-looking girl in front of us in line. Normally, I'm not one to judge, but this chick looked like a complete slut if I've ever seen one. She was dressed in a dressed in a teeny-tiny sports bra embellished with a crystal British flag, the tightest black mini skirt in existence, and platform black heels. Why not tattoo a sign to her head that read "Legs Open Anytime"?

"And then, he totally touched my hand! It was so magical!" she sighed for dramatics, looking up to the sky and holding her palms to her barely covered chest.

"Aww! How AmaZayn! He's so beautiful!" Alicia cooed back, again with her sickly annoying fan girl voice.

I rolled my eyes and pulled out my phone to pass the time. I needed to catch up on my manga anyway. I must have got sucked into Naruto because all of a sudden, Alicia was tugging on my arm again and screaming into my ear. It was then I realized how close we were . We were only ten feet away from the table, and I could see the tops of five heads over the crowd of people. As much as I hate to say, I'd be lying if I said that a little excitement didn't rush through my body. I had no time to think about it though, as I was pushed along by the security guards. The next thing I knew, I was trailing behind Alicia as she squealed and cooed at the boys. I half smiled and awkwardly waved at the first two, Niall and Liam I assumed from the striking similarities they shared with all of the posters in Alicia's room, and one asked me how I was. I answered with a polite "Fine, thanks." and looked down at the table.

A sudden voice broke through the tense air, "Hey, Girlie! Why, you don't seem too happy on this lovely day!" I looked abruptly to my right, taken aback by the owner of the outburst. He was wearing a striped shirt, with red suspenders.

"Louis, right?" I countered, holding out my hand to shake.

"You aren't for sure?" He laughed, and gave a quick glance to the curly haired guy beside him who was listening to our little conversation. "You don't seem like the usual type of girl who comes to these things."

"It's my friend. She's absolutely in love with you guys." I motioned toward Alicia who was hyperventilating while the Pakistani one signed the back of her hand. "She dragged me here kicking and screaming." I rolled my eyes at her behavior and smiled, looking back Louis. I had to admit he was pretty damn cute…but not as cute as Curly sitting next to him.

Louis laughed, "Well maybe we'll make a fan out of you tonight."

"Yes, and maybe…more." Curly winked at me, flashing me a cheeky little smile. "What row will you be in?"

But I didn't get a chance to answer, instead I was shoved along by the guard, and when I looked back, I couldn't find their faces over the crowd of screaming girls. Whatever, I thought to myself. I mean it's not like anything would ever happened with them…or that I wanted it to…right? Now, just to sit through this concert full of cheesy love songs. Somebody please kill me.

A/N: So? How was the first chapter? Bad, I know. :/ Review and give me your suggestions! I'll update again within the week if I get reviews :3
