The year was 1890, and a mother-to-be was being rushed to the hospital. "Faster!" she shouted, "Faster!" "I'm going as fast as I possibly can!" replied the husband. They shouted and screamed but they finally made it.

It was a boy, a beautiful 6 pound 4 ounce baby boy. The mother embraced him."Let's call him Cameron" said the mother "Cameron Jones.

Cameron is now 12. Cameron has had dreams on after another of owning a farm. He loved animals, especially pigs. Cameron's parents refused to get him a pig but agreed to get him a dog. Cameron loved that puppy. He named it Jessie. He fed and walked Jessie every day. Jessie, at age 6, got hit by a car. Cameron was very upset and begged his parents for another dog. His parents replied he was too old and dogs were too much work.

Cameron is celebrating his 22nd birthday. He now goes by the name of Mr. Jones. Mr. Jones works at pets-r-us. One afternoon Mr. Jones got bored of his job. He thought working with animals would be fun but his manager says he must only work with potential customers not with the animals. Mr. Jones hates this policy. He wants a new job.

Mr. Jones remembers his childhood dream, of owning a farm. Mr. Jones counted his money 20, 50, 100, 300, 700$. Only 700$. Nice farms cost 1000$. Mr. Jones found an old broken down farm for only 500$.A dream come true! Mr. Jones was a very good and managed to bargain it to 450$. Mr. Jones was very proud of himself but he still needed to fix up the barn.

This farm is very old and broken. The windows are cracked or shattered. The wood is rotting. Nobody living there for 20 years has really taken its toll. Mr. Jones has to tear it down and rebuild it. It took 3 long years but it is finally done. He went out to buy a pig, a dog and a cow. The cow is named Bessie, the dog pincher and the pig (his favourite) Old major.

Old Major was not too old. They should have called him Young Minor. Mr. Jones played with Old major every day. Old Major was starting to learn some tricks. Mr. Jones was very proud and bragged to his friends. They didn't believe him. One even made a 50$ bet on the pig. Mr. Jones' friend lost the bet and the 50$ waiver. Mr. Jones used the money to fix up the farm even more.

The next year Old Major went to his 1st contest. He came 2nd place. Mr. Jones still didn't give up. He just trained harder. Every day, train, train, train then train some more.. The biggest contest of the year was coming up. Extra training those weeks. Mr. Jones was very satisfied. Old Major went and won.
