Roseand The Doctor were on their way to someplace new- whether it was on Earth or someplace else Rose had no idea. Life with the Doctor was great- nothing to worry about besides death. No bills to pay. Nothing. But the one reason Rose
wanted to come with The Doctor on that one night in London after a plastic terror attack, was because the 19 year old wanted to see the world. The Universe. Who wouldn't take that opportunity? Now The Doctor and his companion were running around the
universe saving lives and fixing time gaps. Rose never really took the time to realize what she was becoming: a hero.

"Ah!" Exclaimed The Doctor, looking as excited as a kid in a candy store. This was one of those relaxing times when the pairhad nothing to worry about. "We're on our way to New York City, 1980. We're about to witness the shooting
of John Lennon."
Rose looked stunned. She went pale.
"W-what?! Are we going to try and save him?" She said. The murder of John Lennon was something that happened before Rose was born, but with JackieTyler as her mother,Rose knew very well who the former Beatle was and how he
died.

"No! That would mess everything up." Said The Doctor, shaking his head. "We are going to investigate the very moments leading up to his death. And, Rose, you will be able to see John Lennon himself."
Rose looked satisfied, and let TheDoctor pilot the TARDIS.
"Rose. Are you disappointedwe're not going to try and save him?" Said the Doctor, his backed turned on Rose while he pushed buttons and pulled levers.
Rose thought for a second. "No. I'd rather save Freddie Mercury." The Doctor looked hurt. He was more of a Beatles fan. "I mean, we will save way more people and and saving John will mess some stuff up so no, I'm not upset."
The Doctor smiled. "We do save Planet Earth a lot." He said. It was like having a hobby for a job. It was the funnest (yet most dangerous) job in the world.
"And Icouldn't do it without you,Rose.". The Doctor turned around to face his loyal companion. "Like I said before; you've been fantastic."
"No, you've been fantastic, Doctor. But I guess I have been too, yeah." Whispered Rose, blushing. "It's not an easy job, saving the world and all."
The Doctor nodded in agreement, with that signaturesilly look on his face. The pair looked at each other, like two best friends, and smiled. Being heroes was their strength.
