Prologue:
Not much known about Jack Sparrow. He's a strange, mysterious man. But have you ever wondered what happened before Will Turner and Elizabeth Swann came into the picture? Before Norrington was commodore, before Swann was governor, or even before Davey Jones was...well...evil? (Did you even know that he wasn't always evil?)
Well, we can't tell you everything, because Jack refuses to mention some very important details, including where he was born, or even where he grew up. And who knows? Maybe Jack never had and family or parents; but instead he's a creature from the depths of the sea, disguised as a pirate, who's come to kill all humans, pirate or not, and take over the world. Okay, so maybe that's a little too much rum for me, but hey, it could happen. One of the few things Jack will tell you is that he wasn't always a pirate.
